Walmart has made a significant move by offering Apple laptops directly for the first time. The MacBook Air featuring an M1 chip is now available for $700.
The retail giant announced that these computers can be purchased online immediately and will soon be stocked at select Walmart stores.

Julie Barber, Walmart’s executive vice president of merchandising, emphasized the retailer’s dedication to expanding its product range by partnering with Apple.
In a statement, Barber expressed excitement about collaborating with Apple to offer customers premium products online and in-store.
Apple’s Latest Laptop Offerings:
Apple recently unveiled new laptop models, including a $1,100 MacBook Air with an M3 chip.
Consequently, the tech giant discontinued its previous MacBook Air featuring the M1 chip, now available through Walmart at a reduced price of $700.
Additionally, Apple lowered the starting price of its MacBook Air with an M2 chip to $1,000.
Walmart’s History with Apple Products:
While Walmart has previously sold Apple devices such as iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches, the addition of Mac laptops marks a significant expansion of its product lineup.
Although Mac laptops were previously available through Walmart’s third-party marketplace, this marks the first time the retailer has offered them directly.
