Two people have been arrested after over 400 cannabis plants were found in a Lincolnshire village.
In a recent operation, police discovered a large-scale cannabis cultivation operation at a premises on Allenby’s Chase in Sutton Bridge.
The raid, conducted on Wednesday morning, uncovered a total of 423 cannabis plants at the location.
Arrests Made
Following the discovery, two individuals have been arrested and charged in connection with the illegal cultivation.
Halil Gopani, 31, who is currently of no fixed address, and Denis Xibraku, 24, residing at Stubbs Drive in London, are both facing charges of production of a class B drug. Additionally, a third person was apprehended during the operation but has since been released with no further action taken.
Legal Proceedings
Both individuals charged with drug production have been remanded in custody pending further legal proceedings. The police have emphasized that investigations into the matter are ongoing.
